Le Mans Classic 2012 Resources?
Hi, folk's,
Le Mans Classic is scheduled for the 6th to the 8th of July 2012.
I realise it is a little early in the year, but has anyone heard any rumours regarding possible media coverage of this event?
Anything.... be it Audio (RLM / RSL!!!) / Visuals - TV - European various?) / Net Streaming? Telescope?
I would be interested to know of any options, as not sure at present, how July will pan out for myself.

There's never been any live TV for classic and I'm not aware of any plans for live shows this year either. Tow years ago I was on TV duty with Motors doing taped highlights and live magazine shows (no live track cameras though)...
News on our coverage to come - we have only done it once - two years ago. Messrs Tyler, Tarsey and Daman did a great job whihc you can re-live in the archive section.

I'd love to do the Classic, it'd also be a great episode for our local TV show In Pit Lane. (That's of course if we could afford the rights!) Unfortunately you're faced with the great dilemma that if you come for the main race then the month long stay in Europe is just too expensive so you've got to pick one or the other.
And I just can't say no to the main event.
One day perhaps.
You are all so very lucky being over there with so much wonderful racing.

Unfortunately you're faced with the great dilemma that if you come for the main race then the month long stay in Europe is just too expensive so you've got to pick one or the other.
And I just can't say no to the main event.

Only three weeks apart this year, and plenty to do on those weekends.
The first weekend you could head up to Spa for GT Open and F2, or across the Channel to Brands Hatch for British GT and F3.
The following weekend, pop down to Paul Ricard for Blancpain Endurance and F3, or head to the Nuerburgring for World Series by Renault.
